Finn's Earliest Memory

Hey Finn Fans,
Finn was in the bath last night, lying on his back with his ears submerged and me holding the back of his head up. I was talking and singing to him and playing with his hair made all swirley in the water. When he sat up I said, "Finn, could you hear me like that?", wondering if he could hear me while his ears were submerged. He nodded yes and then said, "[It] was like when I was in mommy's tummy". !! I said, "It was like when you were in my tummy?", he said "yes"...and I believe him! While we had talked a bunch about when he "was a tiny baby in mommy's tummy", I had never mentioned anything about him being in water, or floating, or anything to that effect! I wonder if he really got some kind of deja vu feeling hearing me through the water like that...

Hello Finn Fans!

I decided to start this blog to bring our beautiful son Finn into the blogosphere and to keep all who love him abreast of our efforts to make our son's life as beautiful, charmed and happy as is humanly possible. He is two (and one third!) and he is already the best and most loving, smart and funny person his father (Dan) and I (Katrin) know. This blog will be a lot about Finn with a bit about our experiences and ruminations about parenthood thrown in.
